Why I’m doing this
“I'm a semi-pro trail runner with a day job. Your pledges on my Zürich Marathon time fund my altitude camp and travel to the 2027 trail races — sub-2:30 and you've bought me a plane ticket.”
I run for a small Swiss trail team, but there is no salary — entry fees, travel and a four-week altitude block in St. Moritz come out of my own pocket. Zürich is my road speed test before the mountain season (Eiger, Zermatt, hopefully UTMB CCC). Everything raised here goes straight to my season budget, and I'll post a breakdown on my Instagram afterwards. Transparent: this one is for me, not a charity.
