Why I’m doing this
“My mum beat breast cancer last year. This spring I run my first ten miles through Bern for the people who supported her — and for everyone still in the middle of it.”
I only started running two years ago, during my mum's chemo — it was my way of coping. The Krebsliga's counselling line helped our family more than I can say. The GP Bern is my first real race. I'm no athlete: the range is generous, and every pledge counts even if I end up walking the Aargauerstalden. You give directly on the Krebsliga's own donation page after the race.
